T.B. Jayachandra, Animal Husbandry minister said that he will urge Union Minister for Agriculture for provide accreditation for these colleges, as an amount of Rs 250 crore allocated for infrastructure development in these colleges.
642 Veterinary Inspectors to be recruited soon
Karnataka State Government to recruit 642 Veterinary Inspectors in the Animal and Husbandry Department soon in the state according to a press release. Candidates who did graduation in Hassan and Shimoga veterinary colleges are not considered for the recruitment process as the Veterinary Council of India (VTI) rejected accreditation to these veterinary colleges.
