AICTE announces CMAT 2014-15 First Test Notification

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) announces Common Management Admission Test first test notification for the year 2014-15.

AICTE conducts the test twice a year to facilitate institutions select candidates for admission into all management courses in their institutions approved by AICTE.

For the first time AICTE is now conducting the test in foreign countries also to give opportunity to eligible NRI/PIOs and foreign nationals seeking admission in Indian institutions appear in CMAT under special provisions defined by AICTE.

AICTE gives two opportunities for the candidates to appear in Common Management Admission Test first in September 2013 then in February 2014. The better rank in the two tests will be used for admission into management courses starting from the year 2014.

Eligibility for applying CMAT 2014-15 first test is Graduation in any discipline or final year graduation students (10+2+3) whose results will be announced before 2014 CMAT admissions.

Registrations for CMAT 2014-15 first test will start online from 3rd July 2013.

Last date for applying online for CMAT 2014-15 first test is 21st August 2013.

Applying candidates can select 3 dates and 3 cities of India in order of preference for online examination. Allotment of test centers and dates will be based on first come first served and also depending on the availability of slots in a particular city.

Registration fee for CMAT 2014-15 first test is Rs 1200 for candidates from General and OBC categories, Rs 600 for SC, ST, PD category candidates and 125$ to appear at any test center in foreign countries.

Candidates can pay fee online through AICTE website using Net Banking or Debit Card or Credit Card facility. Or can pay in cash at any branch of State Bank of India by generating a challan online.

After registration and fee payments, candidates can print out Hall Tickets from 12th September 2013.

CMAT 2014-15 First Test dates are from 26th September to 30th September 2013.
