[ads1]Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) inviting applications from B.Sc candidates for lateral entry to 2nd year/ 3rd semester engineering courses.
The seats which are still unfilled after allotting to Diploma students will be offered to B.Sc candidates.
Eligibility for lateral entry to 2nd year engineering courses is applicants should have B.Sc graduation from any recognized university defined by UGC with a minimum of 45 % of marks and should have mathematics as one of their subject at 10+2 level of study.
In case a seat is provided to a B.Sc candidate, he/she shall clear the subjects of Engineering Drawing/ Engineering Graphics and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering course along with the second year subjects.
Applied candidates will be selected based on the marks they obtained in all three years of B. Sc graduation.
Applying candidates should pay a fee of Rs 600 for students belonging to General and OBC and Rs 300 for SC, ST Category 1 candidates through NEFT from any nationalized bank to Account No 878333780 with NEFT/IFSC code IDIB000M010 Indian Bank, Malleshwaram Branch, Bangalore and send an email to Administration Officer, KEA at firstname.lastname@example.org
After paying the fee through NEFT candidates will be provided with a UTR number which they have to enter at KEA website for accessing the application form. Only after entering the payment details, the application form will be available.
After filling the application form, candidates should upload a color photograph and signature in JPG format.
Application forms will be available online from 6th July 2013.
Last date to apply for later entry to 2nd year engineering courses is 17th July 2013.
Students can download the admit cards for getting their documents verified and options entry from 20th July 2013.
Shortlisted candidates for lateral entry to 2nd year engineering courses 2013 will be announced by KEA on 24th July 2013.
