Bangalore students bags top CET ranks

2013 Common Entrance Test (CET) results today were announced by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). On May 1st 2013 the examination was conducted at 287 centers in the state.

The top rank in PCB and top three ranks in PCM were bagged by Bangalore students. Hemanth Amardeep got the first rank for medical and KA Prajwal got the first rank in engineering.

Out of 1,37,560 appeared students 38,623 students were qualified in the medical streams, 91,808 qualified in the engineering and 68,943 students qualified in ISM and Homeopathy.

74,737 students gets eligibility in the first CET held for agriculture and allied subjects. 1,00,498 students qualified in B Tech (agri), 72,394 in BVSc and  73,316 gets eligibility in B Tech (food).

Scanned OMR sheets of the CET 2013 will also be available on the website. If any mistakes found, the candidates can report to keauthority-ka@nic.in mail id before starting of their document verification schedule. In case the candidates results are not announced or withheld the document’s photocopy should have to submitted to the same mail id from 29th May 2013 onwards.

The verification process of qualified students documents will start from 6th June 2013. After the process an acknowledgement card and verification slip with secret keyword and a CD containing training session for online counseling will be given to the students.

Online counseling will start from June 15th till June 26th 2013.
