[ads1] Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) to conduct common entrance test for diploma holders, DCET 2014 for admissions to 2nd year / 3rd semester engineering courses and for the admissions to first year architecture course under lateral entry scheme.
Students should submit applications online Only through KEA website http://kea.kar.nic.in by selecting Diploma CET 2014 option. Upon completion of entering all required details in the application form, students will receive their application id and password to the email id provided in the application form.
Then the candidates have to upload their color passport size photograph and signature separately in JPG format.
Students can then download and print the challan. Application fee for students belonging to Karnataka region is Rs 650 (Rs 500 for SC/ST Category-1) and have to pay the fee at any State Bank of Mysore branch by using the challan which was downloaded and printed. After payment of fee bank will keep the copy of the challan and provide the candidates two remaining copies of challan.
Then the candidates have to print out the application form in A-4 size paper, affix passport size photo, signature and left hand thumb impression at the provided space and then have to obtain the seal and signature of the Principal where they are studying their final Diploma.
This copy of the application form should be submitted during the document verification process of DCET 2014.
Applications can be submitted online from 20th May and the Last date to submit applications online is 30th May 2014.
Last date to pay the required fee is 2nd June 2014.
Admission tickets for the entrance examination can be downloaded on or after 20th June 2014.
Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) 2014 will be conducted on 29th June 2014 from 10 am to 1 pm.
Kannada Language test will be held only in Bangalore on 29th June 2014 from 3pm to 4pm.
